Archive, the weakest of the demon race, is rescued from death by the Demon Queen and becomes the only surviving member of her family. Unable to have children and dangerous to anyone who comes near him, he watches as humans and demons wage war. Eight heroes lure the Demon Queen with promises of peace, then defeat and abuse her. Archive tries to save her, but is killed, and the Demon Queen is sealed away. Before dying, Archive uses forbidden magic to take over the fetus of Lieselotte, one of the heroes, who is already pregnant. Reborn as the son of a hero, he gains powerful demon eyes with abilities including petrification, charm, fear and clairvoyance. Archive vows revenge on the heroes and sets out to kill them and reclaim the Demon Queen, even if his targets include his own mother or the lover who once loved him.
