Bakuman

Becoming and supporting himself as a manga artist is a difficult path, as ninth-grader Mashiro Moritaka knows from his late uncle’s experience. While trying to balance school and thoughts of a conventional job, Mashiro leaves behind a notebook containing a sketch of Azuki Miho, the girl he likes. His top-student classmate, Takagi Akito, finds it and urges him to draw a manga based on Takagi’s story, but Mashiro initially refuses. Takagi learns that Azuki hopes to become a voice actress and has received a positive response from a production company. He takes Mashiro to meet her and shares their ambition. Mashiro then agrees to make manga with Takagi and asks Azuki to voice its anime adaptation. In a moment of confusion, he asks whether she will marry him if their dreams come true; she agrees, but only on that condition.
