Beast Master

Yuiko Kubozuka loves animals, but they always run away from her. When her new classmate Leo Aoi arrives, she is fascinated by his animal-like appearance and his easy connection with animals—qualities she wishes she had. Beneath his intimidating looks, Leo seems to have a gentle nature. That impression changes when Yuiko and Leo are attacked: he turns violent and acts like a wild animal to protect her. Yuiko wonders whether she can tame him, whether he will flee from her like the animals do, or whether she will be the one to run away. The first volume also includes “Fly,” and the second includes “Cactus Summer Surprise.”
