Black Clover

Aster and Yuno, abandoned together at a church, grow up as close friends with the same ambition: to become the next Sorcerous Emperor. Their abilities seem worlds apart. Yuno is a gifted mage with exceptional power and control, while Aster cannot use magic and works to compensate through physical training. At fifteen, Yuno receives a rare four-leaf-clover grimoire, but Aster receives no book at all. When Yuno is threatened, Aster’s own power emerges: a five-leaf-clover grimoire known as a black clover, containing anti-magic. Now the two friends set out into the world, each pursuing their shared goal.
