Bleach

Ichigo Kurosaki’s ability to see ghosts takes on new significance when he meets Rukia Kuchiki, a Soul Reaper from the mysterious Soul Society. During a fight against a Hollow—a spirit that preys on people with psychic energy—Rukia tries to lend Ichigo her power so he can protect his family. Instead, he absorbs all of it and becomes a Soul Reaper himself. As Rukia slowly regains her strength, Ichigo learns that dangerous spirits inhabit the world around him. Together, they take on the task of protecting the innocent from Hollows and helping spirits find peace.
