A mysterious virus deal in Russia sets off a chain of events that reaches Tokyo. Its purpose is unknown, and the clues point to a gangster and a woman known as Maya, as well as the project’s code word: “Bloody Monday.” Fujimaru Takagi, a second-year student at Mishiro Gakuin High School, is recruited by the Public Security Investigation Bureau to uncover the truth, relying on his exceptional skills as a hacker. As he begins investigating, Maya approaches him in the guise of his high school teacher.
