Chobits

In the 22nd century, Hideki hopes to find a good job, buy a car, and afford a Persocom—a robot companion. Until he has the money, he makes do without one, until he finds Chi tied up in a pile of trash. Chi is an adorable Persocom who seems unable to understand much, and caring for her proves more demanding than Hideki expects. Her presence also leads him into a series of embarrassing situations, as he navigates an unusual boy-meets-girl relationship in a world of personal robots.
