Coelacanth

Ten years ago, an explosion at Hisano’s apartment building changes the course of her life. She would have been there, but a boy in blood-stained clothes rides into her on his bicycle. He drops a toy scale during the incident, and Hisano keeps it as a good-luck charm. Now in high school, Hisano is drawn into the investigation when one of her teachers is murdered. A young man appears carrying the toy that the scale belonged to, and he may share Hisano’s ability to see the hallucinations that have troubled her for years. As the mystery unfolds, the events begin to connect.
