Cousin

After graduating from high school, 18-year-old Tsubomi Shirakawa chooses to work part-time rather than follow her friends into college or full-time jobs. She takes a job at a neighborhood video rental store, content with her life as a freeter and unconcerned about her chubby figure or appearance. Tsubomi learns that her cousin Noni, whom she can barely remember meeting, has made her debut in show business. Then her coworker Shiro takes her to a bar, where she falls in love with its owner, Nasukawa—and her outlook begins to change.
