High school students Takaomi Matsubue and Arika Togawa are dating, though Arika wonders why she fell for someone as unusual as Matsubue—and why people fall in love at all. Their questions take on a deeper significance when they encounter Tsugumi Yoshimoto, a girl who has spent half a year sleeping, sleep-eating, and sleep-walking. Sisters Touko and Rinko Mishima, who are familiar with the structure and interpretation of dreams, say Tsugumi’s condition concerns all of them. Together, the students face a profound mystery tied to dreams and the strange circumstances surrounding their lives.
