Donten ni Warau

In Meiji-era Japan, a government ban on carrying swords leaves the samurai fading away, while crime rises among those who resist the changes. The authorities respond with a prison on an island in the middle of a lake, reachable only by water. The three brothers of the Kumo family are tasked with transporting criminals to the prison. Their work, however, may involve more than simply delivering the prisoners to their new home.
