Doonggule is a traditional tea house where the successors of four sacred spirits gather to train before ascending to heaven. In each generation, these successors are born to protect the barrier between the Heavenly Realm and the human world. The Blue Dragon, Red Phoenix, White Tiger, and Black Tortoise lend their powers to the guardians. Their duty is to stop the spirits of the Heavenly Realm from wreaking havoc among humans, and Doonggule, tucked away in a small country town, is where they prepare for that task.
