The Golden Dragon sends a legendary sword into the world to give a hero the means to stop the Black Dragon, whose arrival is destined to bring about the world’s destruction. The question is who will claim the weapon and face the evil dragon in the foretold battle. The chosen hero turns out to be Alfonso, an elder of a village who must leave his elderly ways behind and set out on a quest. He seeks the Golden Dragon, hoping to gain the power needed to defeat the Black Dragon and avert the coming catastrophe.
