Favela no Mangaka

Comic artist Takei Hiroto faces another rejection at a serialization meeting and decides to abandon his dream. Heartbroken, he travels to Brazil to put the disappointment behind him, but wanders into a favela and meets Joo, a poor boy with a sharp gaze. Though they live on opposite sides of the Earth, Joo shares Hiroto’s ambition: he wants to become a Japanese comic artist, or mangaka. Their story follows two artists from the slums as they pursue their dreams, wherever they may live.
