Gingitsune

After her mother dies, Makoto Saeki inherits the ability to see and speak with Gintaro, a fox spirit who has guarded the family’s small Inari shrine since the Edo era. Only one member of the family can perceive him at a time, and Makoto is now the sole person who can communicate with him. Though Makoto and Gintaro do not always get along, she draws on his powers as they help people in their community face and resolve their problems.
