Gokinjo Monogatari

Mikako Kōda has grown up beside Tsutomu Yamaguchi, whose cute face has made him a favorite with girls since childhood. His name comes from a song, and as he gets older, he begins to resemble Ken Nakagawa, the popular vocalist of Manbou. His growing popularity only irritates Mikako, his childhood friend and neighbor—or so she claims. Now a fashionable teenager with modern sensibilities, Mikako seems uninterested in Tsutomu. This slice-of-life story follows the two neighbors as their long-standing relationship meets the changes of growing up.
