Gokuraku ni wa Mada Hayai

Only one man can witness the final moments of a criminal: the executioner, Fujita Yukinari. The time is Edo, an era when executions were more frequent than they are today. Fujita Yukinari, the executioner, was shunned by the townspeople and nicknamed "Kubikiri Yukinari" for his merciless, cold-hearted sword strokes. However, he never showed any of the hesitation, pain, or loneliness that led him to kill someone. This is a complete departure from his previous work, "Kotori Documents," and a new frontier for Amano Miki! This is the first volume of a series that vividly depicts the life and death of people living in the town of Edo: criminals and their surviving families, government officials, firemen and doctors, tenement landlords and tenants...
