Golden Time (Umechazuke)

Newly admitted to a private law school in Tokyo, Tada Banri gets lost after the opening ceremony while trying to find freshman orientation. He meets fellow freshman Yanagisawa Mitsuo, and the two quickly become friends as they search for the hall together. There, a stylish young woman named Kaga Kouko appears with a bouquet of roses. She strikes Mitsuo with it, hands him the flowers, and offers a brief congratulation before leaving. Kouko is Mitsuo’s childhood friend; they once promised to marry, but he secretly took the entrance exam to escape her. Now she has followed him to the same law school.
