Harapeko Oyako to Motokare Yanushi

Takaharu, a 36-year-old artist who lives quietly on his own, is surprised when his former girlfriend Kyou appears at his door after 17 years apart. She brings her young daughter, Minori, and asks if they can stay with him for a while. Unable to refuse, Takaharu welcomes them into his home, and the three begin living together. Kyou finds comfort in the same warmth and home-cooked meals she remembers from their college days. As they share everyday life, memories return and new feelings begin to take shape.
