Hayate x Blade

Kurogane Hayate takes her injured twin sister Nagi’s place at a school where students compete in sword duels for status, money, and power. The school’s Duels for Stars pair each student with a sister-in-arms, or yuujin. Hayate encounters the intimidating Student Council President Amachi Hitsugi and her partner, Miyamoto Shizuku, as well as the hot-headed, highly experienced Mudou Ayana, who has no yuujin. Hayate initially hopes to avoid the duels, but when she returns home on her first day, she finds the orphanage she cares deeply about in ruins.
