Jun Naruse is a shy, ordinary employee at an electronics company who loves to draw. After meeting Megumi at an art-supply shop, he falls in love with her, and the two begin an intimate relationship. Days later, an armed criminal attacks the office. Jun jumps in front of a little girl to save her and is shot. He wakes a month later to learn that half his brain was destroyed and he survived thanks to a donor’s brain tissue. At first, he recovers quickly and seems happy, but then he begins to change. Is the change caused by the donated brain, or is it a side effect of his medication?
