Kaede Akatsuki, a second-year high school student, tells the members of his puppet theater club that he met the girl from his dreams the day before. Though his fellow club members are thoroughly creeped out, the girl soon transfers to his school—and moves into the apartment right next door to his. When Kaede realizes she has no ability to look after herself, he steps in to help. Then, one day, she asks him, “Do you… want to come over to my place now?”
