Home, Bitter Home, Motel California

Ji Kanghee grew up in a motel in a small rural town, where everyone knows one another. Hating the place, she leaves behind her first love, Cheon Yeonsu, and struggles for years before finding a career and a sense of success, with the possibility of love ahead of her. Then Kanghee hears that Yeonsu, whom she assumed would always long for her, may be marrying someone else. Though she sincerely wishes him well, she wants to know whether his girlfriend is real and how he truly feels. By chance, her work as a project lead brings her back to H-town, the place she vowed never to return to. As she reconnects with former classmates and townsfolk, she begins to suspect Yeonsu still has feelings for her—and finds she does not entirely dislike the idea. Her love and life start to undergo a remodel.
