I Don’t Want the Male Lead’s Child

A woman reincarnated as a doomed supporting character tries to avoid having the male lead’s child. In the novel, she dies after giving birth to his baby, but she realizes her role only when she is already a new bride on the verge of marriage—and resolves to find a way to survive. She expects the male lead to remain her friend until the princess heroine arrives eight years later, after he saves the world and falls in love with her. Instead, he returns alone and says his princess is already there: his wife. When she insists he means the woman he is supposed to marry, he wonders whether their marriage is fake and whether that explains her refusal to have children. His friendly manner only makes her feel that something has gone badly wrong.
