Blondina, a princess of commoner blood, lives quietly in a separate palace, where she faces mistreatment and contempt because of her mixed heritage. One day, she finds a wounded black cat and takes it in to care for it. The cat is not what Blondina thinks: it is Amon, who grows up while staying by her side. He reminds her that she chose to keep him, and insists she must take responsibility for him as his bride. Blondina believes she has raised him well, only to realize that the grown Amon may consume her instead.
