If a Mad Dog Bites a Cub

After winning the war, Adrian, a female knight known as the “Mad Dog,” is exiled to the south. Her brother and the emperor lead the effort to send her there, ordering her to retrieve golden incense from the southern province, now a vassal state. Celeste is drawn to Adrian because she resembles his first love. The story’s setup also reflects the saying that a brother who meddles in his sister’s life never does any good—and Adrian’s brother is no exception.
