Imokami-sama

Aoto returns to life after his younger sister Meika begs the water goddess Mikuri to save him. Granting Meika’s wish costs Mikuri much of her power and leaves her unable to help the people of Hanamikawa as she once did. Feeling responsible, Meika sets out to help anyone in the town so that others can still receive aid. Mikuri eventually gives up her role as the goddess of Hanamikawa Temple, passes her remaining magic to Meika, and leaves her to serve as one of the town’s guardians, granting wishes when people are most desperate.
