A hidden war threatens Seoul, Korea’s 600-year-old capital, as mysterious fires and unearthly creatures signal that dangerous forces are at work. Joo-hee is drawn into the conflict after he sees a fire in the downtown area that no one else at his school seems to notice. His calls for help bring him under scrutiny at the Presidential Residency, where he struggles to understand what is happening. Members of the National Fengshui Office warn that Seoul is in danger because people are breaking the seals on sites of terrible chi. As people are killed by supernatural beasts, Joo-hee is pulled into the concealed war, unaware of the ability he may possess.
