Isekai Shikkaku

Melancholic writer Osamu Dazai is pulled from 1948 into another world, where he would rather find the perfect place to die than embark on a fantastical adventure. The familiar promise of charming companions and game-like powers holds little appeal for him. Instead, the adventures he keeps encountering get in the way of his search for a peaceful end. No matter how much danger he faces, though, events seem to turn out well for him. This is a gloomy comedy about an unwilling hero whose otherworldly journey is the opposite of an ideal fantasy.
