Katsugeki / Touken Ranbu

In 1863, as Japan is torn by political conflict, the historical revisionists seek to alter the past. The government sends the sword spirits known as Touken Danshi to protect history and stop them. The story follows Izuminokami Kanesada and Horikawa Kunihiro, two sword spirits dispatched to the late Edo period. Fighting alongside other Touken Danshi, they face threats to the course of history while confronting their own roles as warriors.
