A mistreated adventurer breaks with his childhood friend and sets out to rebuild his life as a magic swordsman on the frontier. Alfine is his girlfriend and fellow adventurer, but her fame as a peerless Sword Master—and her status as a knight and noble—leaves him treated as little more than her accessory. When Alfine’s knightly duties keep her from adventuring, he takes quests alone and slowly regains his confidence.
