Kindan no Koibito

This anthology brings together five stories about complicated feelings, hidden relationships, and loss. In “Simple Kiss,” two people who call themselves friends share secret kisses, though their arrangement may not stay simple. “Guruguru Pon-chan Okawari” follows Sakura, a human girl, and her small male Chihuahua, who becomes human through a miraculous invention, as they live together. In “Akarui Mirai,” a student loves her teacher, who sees her only as a student, and wonders whether her forbidden feelings can reach him. “Goodbye, Friend” finds Kyoko caught between her best friend, who likes the boy who confessed to Kyoko, and her own inability to end the relationship. In “Kimi ni Tsugu,” someone dyes their hair to resemble a dead twin brother; both siblings loved the same girl, and the survivor keeps his feelings from her as self-imposed punishment.
