Kino's Journey

Kino and Hermes, an anthropomorphic motorcycle, travel from country to country, staying no more than three days in each place. Their journey brings them into contact with the many contrasts of the world, from joy and beauty to suffering and brutality. Through these brief visits, Kino and Hermes encounter different perspectives and gain insight into the imperfect world around them. Even amid its hardships and excesses, they hold on to their freedom and come to see that the world’s imperfections are part of what makes it beautiful.
