Kurenai no Ookami to Ashikase no Hitsuji

Douchinji Youichi keeps his thoughts to himself until a girl with a silver knuckle knocks him unconscious beneath a red full moon. The next day, she appears in his class as the new student, Akatsuki Ayame, and Youichi discovers she is the one who struck him. Ayame explains that the silver knuckle draws a person’s inner desires, or “wolf,” out from beneath the “sheep”—the surface mask that holds those desires back. When a wolf overwhelms its sheep, its owner can see the World of Red Moon. Ayame says she has no sheep of her own and asks Youichi to become hers. He agrees, beginning a tale of a red riding hood who devours the wolf.
