Kuriko To Biyori

Sojiro and his wife, Makoto, welcome Kuriko into their home as a foster child, hoping to build a family together. But Kuriko communicates mostly with a quiet “mhm,” and Sojiro struggles to connect with her, drawing on only vague memories of his own early childhood. Kuriko, however, is fascinated by Sojiro’s special skill: making sweets. As he shares his confectionery craft with her, it becomes a way for parent and child to grow closer and begin forming a bond as a family.
