Loose Relation Between Wizard and Apprentice

Konoha is a hardworking, level-one magician apprenticed to Saionji Ikumaru, a lazy Knight Protector. Together, they work to keep the etherworld sealed away from their own, though the seal sometimes fails. When dragons and demons breach the boundary, Konoha and Ikumaru face new dangers, including Ishtar, the goddess of Venus. Ishtar may help Konoha win her master’s affections—or try to claim him for herself.
