Loved by The Dead

After possessing a character in an abandoned novel, a woman finds herself inhabiting a necromancer who was killed off by the author. The necromancer had been an accomplice of the black mage who killed Castian, the novel’s male protagonist, but she manages to bind his soul with necromancy. Though everyone distrusts and despises her, Castian grows unexpectedly kind. When she thinks he has come to understand her feelings, his attention takes a peculiar turn: he believes being closer to her will make necromancy easier to use, and kisses the back of her hand. Now the lowly necromancer and the hero destined to save the world must navigate their ill-fated encounter, while she wonders if anyone can save them both.
