Mononokemono

Ibuki returns to his childhood town for his grandmother’s funeral, expecting to find the small community much as he remembers it. The town appears unchanged, but he soon learns that his grandmother remarried. With her death, Ibuki also discovers that he is now taking over her role as the Mononokemono. The story follows his new situation in the familiar town, where the supernatural title he inherits becomes part of his life.
