Metal Vessels, advanced weapons developed by competing companies, are presented as the future of combat technology. Sigma’s model requires two operators: Yuiri, a teenage telepath, and Io, her friend, whose anti-telepathy makes him her counterpart. The pair mainly use their vessel in demonstrations, including competitive exhibitions against the latest model from rival company Ciel. But the technology is dangerous beyond the show floor. A serial murderer is selecting targets through a website, and police begin to suspect that the killer is using a Metal Vessel.
