Mushibugyo

In an Edo threatened by giant insects, idealistic warrior Tsukishima Jinbei joins the newly formed Mushibugyou, an office created to address the people’s concerns. The city’s residents had called for change, leading both to the establishment of a public health center called Koishigawa Youjoujo and to this government office. A delegate recruits Jinbei for the Mushibugyou and sends him to Edo, telling him he will understand his purpose once he arrives. Soon after reaching the city, Jinbei hears a cry and finds a huge insect-like creature devouring several people. Convinced that a warrior must never be weak, he cannot stand by in the face of the attack.
