Mushikago no Cagaster

At the end of the twenty-first century, a disease called Cagaster transforms infected people into giant insects, and two-thirds of humanity is devoured before the survivors decide to exterminate those who are infected. In 2125, thirty years after Cagaster’s discovery, young exterminator Kidou finds a man dying from insect-inflicted wounds near the desert’s insect cage. The man entrusts Kidou with his daughter, Ilie, and asks him to find her mother.
