Musket Girls!

Reborn in a brutal world of musket warfare, a former soldier must keep an inexperienced all-female brigade alive. Now a low-born second lieutenant, he earns the grim nickname “Krombertz the Grim Reaper” after suffering staggering casualties under his command. He is reassigned as staff officer to the 6th Special Duty Brigade, where survival depends on turning an unprepared unit into an effective fighting force. The brigade’s mysterious commander appears to have plans of her own, its relaxed non-commissioned officers are unreliable, and its young soldiers have little combat training. With disciplined infantry locked in deadly exchanges, failing to fight means certain death. Krombertz must devise a strategy to help the fragile brigade survive the battlefield.
