After waking in another world, Hee Jeon finds herself inside the novel *The End of the Abyss*, a story she read to the end and chose for its cover. She has become an unnamed extra: a hunter living in a village plagued by demon attacks, while demon hunters are barred from the capital. The book’s crown prince is a tyrant, but Hee Jeon is more concerned with finding her favorite character. For three difficult years, she calls out for her favorite, though she has mixed feelings about never having met him. Then she encounters a man whose face makes her forget all about that character—and who fits her particular tastes so well that she can barely keep her admiration to herself.
