Raised like a delicate flower as Crown Prince Reginald’s official fiancée, Duke's daughter Lilineria was declared dead at age eight after being betrayed by her betrothed. Having lost everything, she changed her name to "Elizabeth" and carved out a quiet, humble existence running an apothecary with her maid. Years later, news arrives that Prince Reginald is marrying a foreign princess. Resigned, Elizabeth wishes them happiness, satisfied that the "nuisance" in his life has officially ceased to exist. She expects to spend the rest of her days in quiet obscurity until fate brings her face-to-face with Reginald once again, unraveling the tragic truth behind her framed death and his hidden loneliness.
