Soyoung saves her eldest daughter, Nari, in an accident but loses her unborn child. Afterward, eight-year-old Nari begins imitating the younger sibling who died. Soyoung wonders whether this change is a response to trauma or whether the dead child has truly possessed Nari’s body. As her suspicions grow, she is forced to face the terrible feelings stirring within her—feelings she believes a mother should never have.
