Normal City

In a far-future world where humanity lives on other planets and ESPs are recognized, the military treats people with psychic abilities as tools. One such ESP, code-named Kitty 101, is a biologically engineered being created from several DNA strands and artificial DNA. Kitty 101 has XY chromosomes, causing her to become male at regular intervals. Scientist Jason Haven steals the baby from his colleague, Troll, to protect her from experiments. Because Kitty resembles his lost daughter, Jason names her Mars Haven and raises her as his own. Meanwhile, Troll—whose real name is Samuel Jones—continues experimenting on the ESPs under his control.
