Our Season is Now

There is no 'later.' Our Season is Now! A sweet and salty everyday comedy cooking manga about a two-woman family. Various forms of families exist around us. However, the lives of families not bound by blood or marriage often go unnoticed. How do those who do not fit into "normal" families manage to live? The comic Our Season is Now sheds light on the lives of a two-woman family by utilizing the theme of seasonal food. Our Season is Now is the personal story of author SUMMUNG, who lives by cooking and eating delicious meals with her partner, Manto, despite being constantly pressured by weekly deadlines. Because she has formed a family that receives neither the recognition of her original family nor the protection of laws and institutions, feelings of skepticism—such as "When is it my season?"—emerge easily. However, the attitude of author SUMMUNG, who devotes herself to daily life to make 'today' her season, appeals to sincere empathy for everyone seeking to reflect on the preciousness of everyday life.
