Young Sylvain is an incubus whose irresistible allure can drive people mad. To win his freedom, he takes on a series of high-risk missions with a partner, relying on his ability to charm others—until he encounters someone he cannot seduce: a vampire. Though Sylvain believes he has failed to charm the vampire, the vampire rescues him and takes him in as an adopted son. Now Sylvain must reckon with his new life and the vampire’s hopes of being called “Daddy,” insisting that a professionally trained incubus like him will not give in so easily.
