Pochi Kuro

A human girl falls into the demon realm, where Kuro finds her but cannot speak her language. Humans are rare there, and many demons would like to eat one. Kuro instead falls in love with the girl and names her Pochi. Determined to help Pochi return to the human world, Kuro protects her from demons who try to devour her. Pochi eventually learns to understand the demons, though she still cannot speak their language. When a demon prince also takes an interest in her, their long journey toward the human world begins.
