Rakia

In the 21st century, God descends to Earth in the form of a girl. This premise reverses the 19th-century philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche’s declaration that “God is dead.” The title refers to “Rakia,” a Hebrew word for the sky or firmament. The story centers on God’s arrival in the modern world, embodied as a girl.
